This is a tutorial on how to remove the case from your Lenovo A7000-series phone without also removing the back cover. This can be a problem when you remove the case the wrong way. You can push down on the case too hard and end up removing the back cover as well. You don't need to do that.

In order to remove the case without removing the cover, turn the phone on the side

Locate the power button and volume buttons

Go to the top of the phone to locate the microSD port and headphones jack

The reason that you are going to use the headphones jack is that this is the part of the phone case that is the most difficult to remove.

On the opposite bottom side locate a notch

The phone is designed to be opened from that area. However, you don't need to remove the back cover, but you may need to remove the aftermarket third-party cover that has been put on.

Apply a little pressure to the case near the headphones jack

You will hear a click.

Then push the case away from the phone and downwards with your thumb or thumbnail

Be sure not to contact the little edge of the back cover.

Pull the case down

It will separate from the phone.
