To get started, turn the phone on by pressing the power button on the right-hand side of the phone

This will reveal the lock screen.

When you see the lock screen, swipe it up to unlock the phone and access the home screen

Find and press the Instagram tile to open the application
.
It is a navy blue background with a camera in the middle. In this example, it is on the bottom of the home screen. If the Instagram tile is not pinned to the home screen, swipe left and find it in the apps menu. In order to show you how to tag people in a photo in this application, we first need to upload a photo.

To upload a photo, press the blue circle with a white camera inside

This will open the photo albums.

Press down on the chosen photo, then press the check mark at the bottom of the screen

Press the white check mark in a white circle again to continue without changing the photo, or add a filter then press the check mark

Now, tap on the photo to tag people

Drag to move, or tap to remove. Once the photo is tapped, a text box will appear at the top and the photo will say "Who's This?"

Type in the name of the person you wish to tag

We can search for a user or just write a name. When we're done, we need to press the enter button. It's a white square with a black arrow inside.

If no specific user is entered, it will search for someone that is on the Instagram network
.
The need to have an Instagram account to be tagged, otherwise it's just a random name. We don't really know anyone called 'Stan' on Instagram, therefore, we're just going to tag a random person by tapping on their name.

To remove them, tap on the black box with their name in it, then tap on the 'X' that appears on the right side

We can also move their name around by pressing down and dragging it around

This is useful if they're in a different part of the photo.

We can also tag more than one person if we want by tapping on the photo, typing in a name and selecting someone

When we're happy, we can press the white check mark at the bottom center of the phone

This will take us back to the 'Share Photo' window that we were in previously.

The photo has been uploaded and the icon in the bottom left corner shows that someone is tagged in it
