First, we'll open our Notes application

Click "Notes" at the top, then click "Accounts"

Make sure that the "Notes" check box is checked in the "iCloud" section

Now we need to make sure the same setting is enabled on the phone by pressing "Settings" and going to the iCloud section

Ensure that "Notes" is enabled

Once we do this, we can create a new note on the computer to test it.

On the phone, we'll go back to the notes application and we'll see that the new note is now synced with the computer

If we type something new on the phone, it will take a moment to sync, but we'll see that the new text has shown up on the computer as well.
