    To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the top right-hand-side power button

    Swipe upwards one time to get to the home screen

    Find the Google Keep icon on the home screen

    It's a yellow square with a light bulb inside of it.

    If this icon is not on the home screen, access the application through the Apps menu

    Let's open up Google Keep
    .
    Press the icon directly on the home screen one time. Once we've tapped on that, it does open up our own home page for Google Keep. On the home page, across the top, is a yellow bar. On the far right of that bar is an icon shaped like three dots.

    Tap on the three dots one time
    .
    It will ask if we would like to have the "Single-column view".

    It changes our view into a single column, so that our notes all appear one below the other.

    In order to change back to multi-column view, tap on the three dots once more

    Tap "Multi-column view" in the pop-up box

    We are once again looking at the notes as two columns.

    In order to close the application, press the bottom center button on the phone one time to go back to the home screen
