   Turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the right-hand side of the phone

   Swipe up the lock screen to enter the home screen

   Find and press the Lumia Camera tile

   .

   It is a purple tile with the picture of a white camera in it. If the tile isn't pinned to the home screen, swipe the screen to the left and locate it in the apps menu. There are two options for using the camera. They include the auto mode, where the camera chooses the brightness, shutter speed, white balance and the rest of the settings, and pro mode, which allows users to choose their own settings.

   Press the arrow located at the bottom of the menu on the right-hand side of the screen to change the camera to auto mode and shrink the menu
