This article will show you how to view content and files that you have stored in your Macbook, on the much larger screen of your HDTV. This means you can listen to music, watch movies and play video games in High Definition on a much larger screen. Follow the instructions below to connect your Macbook to your TV using Apple TV and AirPlay.

- 1Your TV screen should display the Apple logo when you turn on your Apple TV device. (Click the following link for instructions on How To Connect an Apple TV Device to your HDTV).Make sure your Apple TV device is connected to your TV.

- 5If you have followed these instructions correctly, your TV screen should be displaying a mirror image of what is being displayed on your Macbook screen. You can now stream and view content from your Macbook on the much larger screen of your TV.Your Macbook should now be connected to your TV!
Tips Tricks & Warnings
- These instructions will only work for MacBooks made in 2011 or later. Older versions of Macbook do not support Apple AirPlay Mirroring options.
