Steps
- 1To begin, we're going to turn the phone on using the button on the right hand side of the phone.
- 2We swipe up, which takes us to the Home screen.Now, we have the lock screen.
- 3From here, if we swipe to the left, we're going to be taken to another set of options.
- 4Its icon is a cloud on a blue square. Press this to open OneDrive.Scroll up and down until you find OneDrive.
- 5Now, we have a section at the top beginning with files, followed by recent and shared.
- 6So what we want to do is press the Pictures folder, which should be a blue square underneath files.What we want to do is we want to store our data online, so if something happens to it, and something happens to our phone, we can still retrieve our pictures and still have our pictures, and they'll be protected online.
- 7Next, click on the blue square under pictures, which should be the Camera Roll.
- 8Now, we want to put a photo into the Camera Roll, so press the + sign in the circle on the bottom left of the screen.
- 9This brings up all the photos currently in our gallery or photo album on the phone.
- 10The file will begin to upload. You might see a message that reads, "The folder can't be displayed. Make sure you're connected to a WiFi or cellular network and try again." You can see that the file is uploading at the top of your screen. When it is finished, it will say 1 file has been added at the top. So it may be taking some time to load. This is probably because of a very suspect internet connection.Choose a picture and tap on it.
- 11If you press on the picture, you can see it has been uploaded.Now, you can see the picture in Camera Roll.
- 12Whatever happens to this phone you will always have that picture you saved.Now, it's secure.
- 13This is three dots in a line.From the picture's screen, you will see an ellipsis on the bottom right-hand side of the phone.
- 14Here we have the option to download the photo. If we're looking at OneDrive, we can download the photo to the phone. We can also share the photo. We can delete it, or we can open it with another program. If we have another app to edit photos or to do something interesting with photos, we can open it with another application.If we press this, it brings up a menu from the bottom.
- 15And we're going to go back for now by pressing the arrow at the bottom left corner of the screen.
