Start a Group Conversation on Kik on iPhone 6
Edited by Freya, Sid Bedekar, Eng
You are watching VisiHow. In this video I am going to show you how you can start a group conversation with someone on the Kik application on an iPhone 6.
To begin, we need to unlock our phone by pressing the lock button on the side or the home button at the bottom.
Swipe right and enter the passcode or use the fingerprint scanner to unlock the phone.
We need to find the Kik icon which is this one with the black speech bubble and tap once to open the app.
It takes us to our conversations where we can tap on one to open up a new window.
As we can see, this is the chat window with different speech bubbles; from here, tap the two overlapping circles and the plus sign icon in the top right-hand corner.
That brings up some information and options for our chat and we want to go into this middle option with more overlapping circles and the words "Start a Group with" followed by the person's name.
Then, we can select who we want in our group. Tap "Add" on the left side.
We are going to add this person in the middle by tapping the plus on the right-hand side.
The selected person now has a blue check on the right. We can select as many people as we like.
Press "Done" at the bottom right.
Then, we have the option to say that "This Group is Invite-Only" so if we tap on that bubble, it means that it is enabled.
If we tap again, that becomes disabled which means that people can invite as many people as they like.
We can tap where it says, "Name Your Group" and name it whatever we'd like to name it.
We can tap on the camera icon on the left-hand side and choose or take an image for our group.
I think this image is good.
We can adjust the image by zooming in and out.
Press "Choose" to select the image.
Now we can see that the group is ready to go so we can press "Start" and it will begin the group invitation.
We can go back to cancel.
We can see that it now says, "You added desi boy to the chat" so that means that this particular group which started with "Faisal Khan" has gone into an new chat. This is the conversation where we have added different people.
This is a VisiHow video and I have just shown you how you can add someone to a group conversation on the Kik application on an iPhone 6. If you have any questions or comments, pop them into the section below and we will do what we can to get back to you. Thanks for watching.
