Star or Favorite an Email in Gmail on iPhone 6
Edited by Freya, Kellin Quinn, Eng, VisiHow
You're watching VisiHow. In this video, I'm going to explain how to star or favorite an email in Gmail on the iPhone 6.
To begin, the phone needs to be unlocked. This can be done by pressing the lock or home button.
Enter your passcode or use the fingerprint scanner.
Find the Gmail icon, which is this one here with the envelope. Tap on it once. We'll see that when it's opened up that it already has access to an email address so it's taken us to our primary email list. Refer to another video where it is explained how to connect an email with the Gmail application.
Open up an email that we'd like to favorite.
Tap once on the grey outlined star located at the top where it says the title of the email.
It will turn yellow and that means that this specific email has been selected as favorite.
To view any starred or favorited emails, tap on "Primary" located at the top-left of the screen.
Tap on the three horizontal lines located at the top-left of the screen. A menu will pop up from the left-hand side of the screen.
Once in the menu, tap on "Starred."
Starred emails will appear here.
Emails can be unstarred by going to the email and tapping on the star once more to turn it grey.
Tap on the back arrow in the top left-hand corner to go back.
Press the three horizontal lines in the top left-hand corner, and tap on "Primary". This will return us to where we began.
This is a VisiHow video and I've just shown explained how to star or favorite an email in Gmail on the iPhone 6. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to add them to the section below and we'll do our best to get back to you.
