    Package the clothes properly
    .
Yeah, you are selling used clothes, but this does not mean that the clothes have to look really old. Nobody would want to buy that kind of thing, even when it is so cheap. A few successful used clothing shops pay attention to how they organize their stocks and package them in a way that it will still be able to attract attention. Used clothing are at times sold not because they are not pleasant anymore, but because the previous owner has other things to use already. So more often than not, the likelihood of finding some really good items is high, but you just need to make sure that people are able to see it because it catches their attention.

    Keep your shop smelling good
    .
There are several used clothing shops there that will make your nose really hurt because of the smell. The items smell old and there seems to be a lot of dust everywhere in the shop. There is no way that you will be able to attract customers with this kind of a setup. It will not only be very uncomfortable for them, they will also worry that they may get some sort of disease from your shop and items. It also tells them that the clothes may be doubtful as well in terms of cleanliness, so it gives them no reason to buy them.

    Create a theme
    .
Used clothing shops that have a theme are perceived to be more attractive compared to the "everything goes" type of shops. For example, you may want to sell used clothing which are rare or convey a particular message. This way, you develop your market through a niche and that guarantees you more repeat customers. Also, these types of people who are buying things because they are so fond of them, they would not mind buying second hand, as long as they find what they are looking for.
