You're watching VisiHow. In this video, we're going to demonstrate how to split a clip in ScreenFlow. In this video, we'll be using a video where there are a few seconds of a fan being turned on, warming up, and working. The time between being turned on and working needs to be removed.

   To delete a section of your video, click the video clip in the timeline to move the indicator to the end of the area you want to remove

   Then, press "T" on the keyboard to split the clip

   You will see a thumbnail of your clip appear next to the clicked location.

   Now, place the timeline indicator at the beginning of the area that you want to cut out

   Press "T" on your keyboard again

   Another thumbnail of the video will appear between the two marked points. There will be three separate areas of the video.

   Click the piece that you want to delete

   It will be marked with a yellow border.
