   To begin, we need to unlock our phone by pressing the Lock button on the right-hand side or our Home button at the bottom

   Swipe and enter our passcode or use our fingerprint scanner

   Find our SoundCloud icon, which is this orange one here with the cloud in the center, and tap once to open it up

   .

   It will take us to a home page where we can start to browse trending music.

   We need an icon on the black bar along the bottom of our screen

   .

   Press down on the head and shoulders on the bottom right-hand corner to get to our profile. It will give us the option to create an account or to sign in.

   We are going to tap "Create account"

   .

   We can either sign up with Facebook or Google. In one case, we have to have Facebook already on our phone to allow access, or we can simply press and enter our e-mail.

   Let's try to sign up with Facebook because that's probably the quickest one

   Tap on "Sign up with Facebook".

   Press "Continue" to agree to the terms of use to combine with Facebook

   It will take us to the Facebook app.

   Now press "OK" or press "Cancel" in the bottom right-hand corner if we decide not to

   We will press "OK". It will take us back to the app where it will log us in with Facebook. I'll just log out very quickly so we can see how to sign up with e-mail.

   Signing up with Google will be similar

   Under "Sign up with Google+", there is the option "MAIL". We simply tap on "MAIL" and type in our e-mail address, so we can create a password.

    Then tap "Next"

    In the top right-hand corner, the "Next" highlights so we can move onto the next step.

    We can also choose gender; "Female", "Male", "Custom", or "Prefer not to say"

    Press "Done" after choosing our age and gender

    Then finally press "Continue" to allow the account to be created
