   To begin, we should unlock our phone which we can do by pressing the big round button at the bottom of the screen called our "Home" button or the "Lock" button on the right-hand side

   This brings up the lock screen where we can swipe and enter the pass code, or we can just press our finger on the "Home" button, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner too

   This takes us to the home screen.

   Find the TripAdvisor App on your phone

   .

   Mine is in my travel folder as you can see here. The icon itself is green with an owl's face and what looks like big white eyes or glasses. We can just tap that icon once to open up the App.

   We are taken to the main menu where we can scroll down past the search options to "Settings" at the bottom, indicated by a little green cog on the left-hand side

   We can just tap that once to open up the settings.

   We are only given 3 different options here, and we are looking for "Sign out" which is in the white bar along the bottom of the options

   Just tap "Sign out".

   We will have a confirmation window on the bottom where we can press "Cancel" if we want to stay signed in, or "Sign out" in red by just tapping it

   It looks the same, but now it says "Sign In"

   To go back, go to the "Home" icon in the top left corner and we are back on the main screen

   The only difference is that it won't open up our bookings, and it won't open up what we have saved because we are not signed in
