Edited by Grimm, Leomar Umpad, Eng, Maria Quinney
You are watching VisiHow and today we are going to show you how to sign in to your iPad account on your iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To start with, give the lock button a single press on right hand side of the phone
.
2
Alternatively, you can also press the Home button at the bottom of the phone which will open it
.
3
Then you are just going to swipe across the screen to get the screen open
.
4
Once you have swiped across the screen and it is open, you are going to find the silver Settings icon
.
This usually appears on the very first home screen of your phone.
5
Single tap on the silver Setting icon - it is going to open that up
.
6
You are going to want to go back to the main Settings menu if you are not already in the main Settings menu
.
As you saw there, I pushed back to accomplish that.
7
Now you are going to want to scroll down until you find the Settings for iCloud
.
Here we have iCloud and underneath that we have iTunes & App Store
8
You want to tap on iCloud and get our iCloud setup
.
Single tap on iCloud.
9
Now it is going to ask us to enter in our email
.
We are going to enter in our email address here. Let's just put in "sample" and then you can enter a password. That's it. A very complicated password for our wonderful sample@example.com log-in.
10
Now you are just going to tap in Sign In
.
Let's give Sign In a single tap now.
11
Once you tap Sign In, it is going to verify your information
.
You can see here in the top.It takes in a minute but it will give you a blue check on your email and password to confirm that both of these have been verified.
12
Then we go to verification process which may take a little time - depends on whether you are setup on a WiFi connection or not
.
I have currently not setup on a WiFi connection so this might take little more time than usual.
13
If you need to set yourself upon a WiFi connection go a head and watch our tutorial on how set yourself up on a WiFi connection. Now you see we got a pop up window that asks us if we would like to use the location of our iPhone
.
14
Unless you are super paranoid, let it use the location of your iPhone
.
If you lose it or someone steals it or you need to remotely wipe it, you are going to wish that you had allowed iCloud to use the location of your iPhone. We blacked out a bit - lets give a quick tap on the screen to brighten it back up. We will have to show you tutorial on how to change the time out on your screen as well.
15
16
Quick tap to OK to allow
.
I've got 4.6 Gigabytes of available storage, iCloud Drive is On, Photos are On, Mail is On, Calendars, Reminders, Safari- everything is On expect for Key chain - which I will turn off later.
17
I can go to Mail to have some advanced Mail settings or I can share my location
.
Those are all things that we are going to show you in another tutorial.
18
For now you have gotten your phone setup and logged in to iCloud
.
That means you are ready and able to start sending messages to people using iCloud services - the biggest one of those being Family Sharing which is here. We are going through setting up Family Sharing in just a little bit.
19
For now lets give our home screen button a single press back Home
.
20
Back in the Home screen, you can see I have got, well it is, about 356 unread email messages
.
They are fantastic! Thanks a lot there guys, we will get to those in a little bit. Hopefully, some of that fan mails from you guys telling me how great I am and how much you like these tutorials. Thanks a lot for choosing VisiHow. We look forward to seeing you again on our other videos. Have a great day and we will speak to you soon.
