Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video you will be shown how to show content from 'Applications and Services' on the 'Blink Feed' of a HTC One M8.

Steps

  1. 1
    Begin by pressing the top power button to turn on the phone
    .
    Once the phone is activated, we will see the lock screen.

    To unlock the phone press down on the screen and swipe up

    The unlocked phone presents the 'Home' screen.

    We can now swipe to the right until we reach the 'Blink Feed.'

    Swipe to the right again to bring up more options

    Press the three horizontal dots in the top right-hand corner of the menu to open the new menu in a black box

    Press the second option called, 'Services & Apps.' This will show all of our applications

    'Blink Feed' allows all the 'Services and Applications' to be viewed in one place
    .
    We can select 'Services & Applications' that are provided by the 'Lollipop' operating system, 'Google,' and they can be added by the user as well. Things like social media, 'Instagram', 'Twitter', and things that are of a more personal nature. We can see things from our friends such as photos and status updates.

    To add a 'Service' or 'Application' to the 'Blink Feed', put a checkmark in the box to the right of the listed 'Service' or 'Application' to view their images, updates, photos, or articles in your 'Blink Feed'

    The checkmark box should turn blue. If there is no checkmark the 'Service' or 'App' will not be added to the 'Blink Feed.'

    When a 'Service' or 'Application' is added you will be prompted to sign in to the application to complete the adding process to the 'Blink Feed'

    This example is using 'Twitter.' All of the tweets and updates would then appear in our 'Blink Feed.'

    Click the bottom left-hand arrow to return to the 'Service & Apps' menu

    Another example is to add 'Kid Mode' to view uploaded drawings from your kids in the 'Blink Feed'
