    To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone

    Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the home button at the bottom of the screen

    Swipe to the right to enter your passcode
    .
    As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.

    Find the Shazam icon, which is blue with a white symbol inside of it, and tap on it once to open the application

    To be able to use Shazam we need to give access to the microphone.

    Press the home button to go back to the home screen

    Find the settings icon, which is grey with a grey gear inside of it, and tap on it once to open the phone settings

    Find the Shazam icon, which is in the list of applications in alphabetical order at the bottom, and tap on it once

    Tap on the white button to the right of "Microphone" to enable the option and highlight the button with green
    .
    The green color indicates that the option is enabled. If the bubble isn't highlighted green we need to tap on it once.

    Double-tap the home button

    As we can see, it says at the top "Touch to Shazam" indicated by the Shazam logo.

    Tap on the Shazam logo at the top to start

    As we can see, it is now listening for a song. If it hears a song, it will pulse in time with the music as well. When it identifies a song, we will see an information page including details about the song like when it was released or where we can find it.
