Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to share a photo from the Photos application, on the HTC One M8.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button, located on top of the phone

   .

   Once the phone has been activated, we'll see the lock screen.

   To unlock the phone, press down on the screen and swipe up

   Once the phone has been unlocked, we'll see the home screen. At the bottom, there will be icons. It is one of these icons that we need.

   We need to open up the Applications folder

   .

   To do that, tap on this icon located at the bottom of the home screen. It looks like a grid of white dots. Press down on this icon to open up the Apps folder.

   In this folder, we need to find the Photos application

   .

   It is located here. It looks like an icon of a windmill shape with lots of colors. Underneath, it says the word "Photos". Our Photos application may be in different positions within the Apps folder. Once we've located the icon, press down on it. It will allow us into the application.

   Press down on any photo

   Find one that we like, and press down on it. In this video, we will learn how to share a photo from this application.

   Now, we are looking for this icon, in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen

   It looks like three white dots, connected by some white lines. This is the "Share" symbol. Press down on it, and it will bring up a menu with all of the different ways that we can share this photo. If we have some additional applications for messaging or social networking, then we will also see them there.

   Choose the method that we wish to use to send the photo

   .

   We are going to use Gmail. Press down on the Gmail icon. It will say "Sharing to Gmail" at the bottom of the screen, and the photo will be inside of the message.

   We can input an email address, or add contacts by pressing down on it, and typing in a name

   When we are ready to send this photo through Gmail, press down on the Send icon

   It looks like a paper airplane or an arrow. Once we press down on it, it will send the email. We have successfully shared this photo from the Gmail application.
