You are watching VisiHow. In this video, I am going to show you how you can share tracks from SoundCloud on an iPhone 6.
To begin, we need to unlock our phone by pressing the lock button on the side or the home button at the bottom.
Swipe right and enter the passcode or use the fingerprint scanner to unlock the phone.
Find the SoundCloud icon which is this orange one here and tap once to open up the app.
We need to find a song to play, we are going to pick this one here.
We can see that it automatically begins to play the song, and in this case, we are just going to pause it by tapping on the screen.
We need to tap on these three horizontal dots on the bottom left corner.
Doing that will bring up this new page.
Tap on "Share" which is the bottom option indicated by a square and an arrow pointing upwards.
That will bring up a window where we can select different ways to share the song.
The formats are generally similar so we will be using Facebook as an example.
Tapping Facebook will compose a Facebook post for us assuming that we have the Facebook application on our phone.
We can type anything we want in the "Say something about this..." textbox.
We can change the visibility settings by tapping the "To" at the top left.
When we are happy with the settings, we can press "Post" in the top right-hand corner.
Then we can see that it has been posted to our timeline.
We will be brought back to SoundCloud after that.
We will show you another way to share; we can share via "Message".
Again, it begins to compose a message for us and it asks us to enter in a recipient at the top.
We can choose somebody from our contact list.
We can also tap and edit the message. In this case, it has the URL for the particular song. We can add a sentence to comment on the song.
As long as we have a message and a recipient, we can tap "Send".
It takes us back to the app once again.
If we select mail as the sharing option, it has a similar format to the Message.
The only difference is that we need to add an email address to the top instead of a phone number.
We can also add extra information although it already has the URL to the song in the body. There is also a little message which states where we are sharing from.
We can press "Send" in the top right-hand corner.
It will once again take us back to the app.
Finally, we can also share via Twitter assuming we have the Twitter application on our phone as well.
It puts the link to the song and a brief overview of the song usually with the title.
When we are happy, we can tap "Post".
We have one more option which is to copy the link so if we tap that, it means that we have copied the link. If we wanted to create our own post on Facebook, we can create a post and paste the link inside.
We can drag our screen down to return to where we started in the app.
This is a VisiHow video and I have just shown you how you can share a song from the SoundCloud application using an iPhone 6. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to add them into the section below. Thank you for watching.
