Share Songs from Spotify on iPhone 6

You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to share songs on the Spotify application on the iPhone 6.
Steps
- 1Alternatively, press the home button on the bottom.To begin, we need to unlock the phone by pressing the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone.
- 2Swipe and enter the passcode or simply use the fingerprint scanner.
- 3This will open up the app. It will take us to the browse page, which is like the Spotify homepage. If we're not logged in, it will take us to the log in page. To learn how to log in to Spotify, refer to my other video.Find and tap on the Spotify icon, which is black and green.
- 4This brings up a new menu.Tap the 3 horizontal white lines in the top left-hand corner.
- 5We can search for a song using the "Search" option, which we've talked you through in another video as well.
- 6We can also easily browse anywhere on Spotify to find a song to share.Alternatively, we can simply play the last song we listened to by dragging up at the bottom of the screen.
- 7We can see that we were listening to this song already, but it's paused.
- 8It will be on the right-hand side of the title and name. This brings up a menu.What we need to do, once we have the song on the screen (making sure it's the big window, not just the bar at the bottom), is tap on the 3 horizontal white dots in a circle.
- 9It has an arrow pointing towards the right, on the left-hand side.Tap on the fourth option down, titled "Share".
- 10To begin, we're going to tap on "Post to", which has an indication of two people and an arrow on the left-hand side.Now we have the option to Post or Send this song.
- 11It currently says, "#NowPlaying "Feeling Good" by Nina Simone from I Put A Spell On You".Now we can edit the text.
- 12Below that, we have the choices to post to Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr, indicated by their icons.
- 13We can also tap on "MORE" which brings up other options to send via message or mail as well.
- 14The icon will then show in color.We'll just tap on Facebook for now.
- 15The reason it didn't ask us to connect to Facebook is because we logged in with Facebook, so if we didn't log in with Facebook and used our email instead, it will bring up this window as well. For now, we will only share with Facebook since the format is pretty much the same for Facebook, mail, message, Twitter and Tumblr.We can also post to Twitter, but we will need to connect if we haven't already.
- 16Tap "Post" in the top right-hand corner.
- 17We've officially posted it to Facebook. We will now demonstrate the "Send to" option.We will see an arrow with the text "Shared Successfully".
- 18We will tap on the 3 horizontal dots again.
- 19Tap on "Share".
- 20Tap on "Send to", which has an arrow going into a box on the left-hand side.
- 21We will tap on "Select People".We can then "Select People", send via "Email", "Message", or "WhatsApp".
- 22We tap on the search bar at the tap to search our contact list.
- 23Now, we should tap on the person that we want to send the song to.
- 24We can now add a message.
- 25To demonstrate sharing via Email, we will tap on the arrow in the top left-hand corner to go back.
- 26This will compose a new email.We will tap on "Email".
- 27It has already put some text and a link in, so we would simply tap on "To:" to add an address, just like we would do for any other email from our iPhone.
- 28Tap on "Message" to share it as a text message.
- 29It's the same format, so all we would have to do is add a contact at the top and send it like a normal SMS message.
- 30Again, this will be the same format.We will tap on "WhatsApp" to demonstrate that.
- 31Tap on the chosen contact.
- 32It's as simple as that.Tap on "Send".
- 33Double tap the home button, and tap on the Spotify application to go back to it.
- 34Tap on the arrow in the top left-hand corner.
- 35Our final option is "Copy Song Link".
- 36Now we can paste the link somewhere such as a message, or maybe compose our own Facebook post by posting the link instead. We would just hold down and tap on "Paste" like we always do with our iPhone.The link will be copied to the clipboard.
- 37Tap on the arrow in the top left-hand corner to go back.
- 38We are back to the screen where we began.
