To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone

Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the home button at the bottom of the screen

Swipe to the right to enter your passcode
.
As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.

Find the Tumblr icon, which is blue with a white "T" inside of it, and tap it once to open the application

It will automatically take us to the dashboard which is full of different things posted by the people that we follow. This is indicated by the house icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

Open the blog we'd like to share, and tap on the head and shoulders icon located in the top-right corner of the screen

Tap on "Share blog", which is the option at the top

We can choose how we share the blog, either by "Message", "Mail", "Facebook", or "Twitter". They all use a similar format to compose the post with.

First, we'll tap on "Mail" which is indicated by the blue button with an envelope inside of it

This will open up an email for us. There is already a message subject, a link to the profile, and information about where we found the post. "Message" and "Mail" use nearly identical formats to share with.

Tap on the blank space next to "To:" at the top of the screen to input recipients

We can tap on the message body to add text or information if we'd like to

Tap on "Send" located in the top-right corner of the screen

This will send it as we would any other email.

Tap on "Facebook", which is indicated by the blue button with a white "f" inside of it

"Facebook" and "Twitter" use a very similar format where it creates a post for us for Facebook or Twitter. Twitter will limit the amount of characters we can use.

Type to add a comment or any information we'd like to the post

Tap next to "Location" to add a location if we'd prefer to
