Welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to share a shopping list with someone when using the Food & Drink application on a Microsoft Lumia 535.


Steps

    To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button on the right-hand side of the phone. Once the phone is activated, the lock screen will be visible.

    Swipe the lock screen up to go to the home screen.

    On the home screen, find the Food & Drink tile. It has a blue background with a white outline of a fork and spoon inside. If the Food & Drink tile is not pinned to the home screen, swipe left to find it in the apps menu. Tap on the application to open it.

    On the home page of the application, there will be an image and an article related to Food & Drink, as well as "shopping list" below it. If it's not visible, swipe left or right until it is found. Tap on "shopping list" to go to the shopping list. You can either create a new list or send an existing list.

    To send an existing list, tap on the list that you would like to send. Sharing a shopping list is a very useful function, especially with a family situation or living with friends. If you don't have time to go shopping or it's not your turn but you want to create the list, or maybe someone is at the supermarket already and needs the list, it can be shared quite easily.

    To create a new list, tap on the white piece of paper with the plus sign on it, in a white circle. After the shopping list is created, it can be shared.

    If an existing shopping list is chosen, it will open and show the list once it has been tapped. This one only has bread and milk because it is just an example. Normally a shopping list would be bigger with 30, 40, or maybe even 50 items.

    To share the shopping list, press the icon that looks look like 3 arrows in a circle. This will show the share menu.

    Choose the sharing method to send the list. There is one option to share the shopping list here, "Outlook". Outlook is an email provider. If you have a different email provider such as Yahoo Mail or Gmail, those options will be there as well.

    The menu was automatically listed in the email, as well as the subject, which is the shopping lists name.

    Add a contact to send it to by pressing the black plus sign in a circle.

    When you're satisfied with the email, press the black envelope and 3 black lines inside a circle to send the email.
