To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the right-hand side of the phone

Once the phone is activated, swipe the lock screen up to get to the home screen

On the home screen, find the Food and Drink tile

It has a blue background with an image of a fork and spoon on it. If the Food and Drink tile has not been pinned to the home screen, swipe to the left to find it in the Apps menu.

Once it has been located, press down on Food and Drink to enter the application

First, tap on "browse recipes"

Choose a recipe category by pressing on it

Then tap on a recipe's name to open it

To share the recipe, press the fourth icon at the bottom of the screen

It is a circle with three curving arrows inside it. There are multiple reasons for sharing a recipe, and this function is particularly useful because it saves time having to write down information, and send text messages or emailing the information.

This will bring up sharing options

For this example, there is only one, "Outlook". Any other email providers will be listed on this screen as well.

Select an email provider by tapping on it

The recipe will be inserted into the body of the email, and the subject will be the title of the recipe

To add a contact to send to, press the plus sign at the top right corner of the screen
