Find and tap the Facebook Messenger icon to open the Facebook Messenger application. The Facebook Messenger icon is a blue chat bubble with a white lightning bolt, on a white background. In this tutorial, we will set up the ability to share our location in the Facebook Messenger app. For example, we will tap on our first message. Our friend has referenced a restaurant in her message. However, she has not given us any details about where the restaurant is. However, with the option enabled, our friend's current location will have been sent along with the message. To view the current location, tap on the message. A map will appear beneath the message. To view a larger map, we can tap on the map, and tap "View in Maps" to open the location in the Maps application, or we can tap on "Get Directions" to get directions to the location, using the Maps application. Our friend's location will appear in the Maps application, and we can look at the map to determine which restaurant she was referring to. The following steps will describe how to send our current location in a reply.
