Setup and Manage Location Services on the iPhone 6
Edited by Kara, Crystal, Eng, VisiHow and 2 others
Hi, you're watching VisiHow. In today's video, I will show you how to set up and manage location services on your favorite iPhone 6. The very first question we would ask, where are the location services? I will tell you. They are hiding in the settings. The icon looks like grey gears.
- 4For example, you could turn all of them off except for Facebook, or except for Instagram. You could have half of them on and half of them off. It also gives you the option to only use it sometimes. If your phone is locked, the Location Services are not going to be active. For example, if we look at the location services for Facebook, you can choose to Never allow location services by tapping "Never" at the top of the list. You can also choose to use location services only when Facebook is open by tapping "When Using the App," or you can choose to "Always" use the location services for Facebook. However, using the Always setting uses a lot of the battery and sometimes a balance of your phone if you are not connected to WiFi.When Location Services are on, you can manage each one of them separately.
- 11If you have any more questions on phones, computers, tech, or just any possible questions, ask them. Write them in the section below, and we will help you find the answers. Thanks for watching VisiHow.You just watched me setting up the Location Services and managing them on the iPhone 6.
