Setup and Get Started with the Rival Kingdoms Game for iPhone 6

Hi, welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to setup and get started with the 'Rival Kingdoms' game for the iPhone 6.
Steps
- 1To begin, press the 'Home' button which is the circular button at the bottom of the phone.
- 2Alternatively, we can press the 'Lock' button on the right side of the phone.
- 3As an alternative, we can press our finger to the fingerprint scanner if we have that option enabled.Swipe right to enter your PIN.
- 4This is going to take us to Apple's 'App Store' where we can see all of the new great and amazing applications that they have.Next, tap on the 'App Store' application.
- 5Tap on the 'Search' icon at the bottom of the screen.
- 6As you type, multiple choices will come up. Tap on 'Rival Kingdoms'.Tap on the search bar at the top of the screen, and begin to type in "Rival Kingdoms".
- 7Age of Ruin' and open it, or tap 'Open' if you already have the game installed. This is a game that has quite a few high ranked results. Tap the game title for more information about the game. As we can see, the difference between Rival Kingdoms and other popular games i.e.. 'Clash of Clan's or 'World Dominations' is that some of the limitations that are normally in place don't exist, and there are no training times for training your troops. Your troops are automatically trained. It is a strategy building conquering type of game, but it's also a little bit different, which is why it is an App Store editor's pick. The editors review reads "Your job is to create an impenetrable base, and destroy your opponents villages. You will have some interesting allies in the form of Ancients, which will provide power to you."Tap the 'install' button to install 'Rival Kingdoms:
- 8As we can see, we are starting in a battle and have the ability to quickly use our troops by dragging and deploying them. Tap and hold on the troop icon on the left side of the screen and drag the troop to where we would like them to be.Drag and deploy your troops.
- 9It reads "An Ancient is coming, let's hope that it hates the Ruin as much as we do!"Read the notification, and tap it to continue.
- 10To destroy the portal and collect magic power, drag troops in front of the portal on the right side of the Ruin. The troops will all attack the portal.Give the Ancient magic power.
- 11To do this, we will tap and drag the 'fire' icon on the left side of the screen to this location.Drag the fire to the left of the Ruin.
- 12The notification tells us to finish the battle, and we can do this by dragging and dropping the critters and creatures icon on the left into the battle.Add critters and creatures to your attack.
- 13We've gotten a notification that we should stay and protect the shrine and that with time and care it will bring other Ancients to your side. The shrines are things that you leave offerings at and primitive Ancient Gods come and assist you in your battles if you've done well enough. We've been told the Stronghold is our home, but we need to upgrade it quickly before other people attack it and steal your valuable resources. Tap the hammer to upgrade it.Protect your new Stronghold using the hammer.
- 14We can upgrade Attack, Defense, but we can't upgrade Treasure, Diamonds, or Chests. As with most of these games, the more you have the more you can get - that's why we are going to choose production.Tap the 'Production' upgrade.
- 15We can upgrade Gold Smelter or Gold Storage, but being able to smelt gold won't be useful without upgrading the storage first.Tap 'Gold Storage'.
- 16Tap the green check mark to begin building storage.
- 17You can tap and drag to move the gold storage facility around the map. We will receive a notification that it will hold gold and also that we can skip short constructions for free. Once the construction is done, we will be informed that we can store 2,000 gold. This game easily describes game aspects and can be less confusing than in other games.Tap the gold storage facility highlighted on the map, and tap 'Skip for free'.
- 18We've been told we can loot gold from other Strongholds, and that's what this game is all about. Tap the blue map icon in the bottom right corner.Tap the map to go and steal gold.
- 19We are now going to enter a battle to try to steal gold.Tap the 'Battle' icon.
- 20You can see the soldiers attacking and progressing toward different areas. Watching your troops is how you track your progress of the battle.Tap and drag your soldiers from the left side of the screen into the battle area.
- 21Drag fire into the battle area to help destroy things more efficiently if you need to.Use fire to attack.
- 22Tap the 'Continue' button or the 'Review' button after your battle.
- 23Tap the blue castle icon to go home.
- 24Tap the blue portal icon.We need to build another portal in order to get more troops.
- 25Tap "Attack, Training Yards and Troops".
- 26We are going to build 3 of 3.Tap on 'Troop Portal, 2 of 3 currently built'.
- 27Tap and drag the portal over to the area indicated in the example, next to the other portals.
- 28You can skip upcoming notifications by tapping on them.Tap the green check mark at the bottom left.
- 29We will tap the Barracks on the map.We will now upgrade our Barracks.
- 30Tap on the green bar to upgrade, and tap skip for free.
- 31We have been told we've unlocked Warden. This character has a nice crossbow weapon.Tap on continue.
- 32Tap on the Barracks to select squads.Now we can select our squads for attacking.
- 33Now tap on 'Select Squads of Troops'.
- 34In this example, I will be using the Wardens and Ground Troops.Tap and drag the troops to select them for the squad.
- 35Tap the 'X' in the top right corner to go back.
- 36Tap on the 'X' in the corner of the Barracks menu to close it.
- 37As we can see this is a very simple, very easy and well-designed game with great directions. As we upgrade the Barracks we get more intense Troops, and when we have more intense Troops we are able to attack more often and most importantly more effectively.Tap to skip and tap 'Yes' and 'OK' on the push notification prompt.
