Hello and welcome to VisiHow, in this video we are going to show you how to request a delivery report for each SMS message (Text Message) sent on the HTC One M8.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the 'Power Button' located on the top of the phone

   .

   Once the phone is activated it shows the Lock Screen, to unlock the phone, press down on the screen, hold down until you see this icon and then swipe up.

   This shows your Home Screen with icons along the bottom, this is where we will find the 'Messages' icon

   It is a text box with 3 horizontal lines, press down on this icon to open.

   We have now entered the Messages section, in this section we need to find the 'Settings' menu, to do this we press the icon on the right-hand side with 3 small squares in a vertical line

   The Menu is now shown, we are looking for the option, 'Settings' second from the bottom

   In this 'Settings' menu, we will need the second option, 'Text Messages'(SMS), press to open

   We are now in the 'Text Messages'(SMS) Menu

   .

   Here we can see the first option is the one we want. Delivery reports (Slot 1) Request a delivery report for each message you send. We can select this option by pressing down on the box and a blue tick will now show. We will now receive a Delivery Report back for each message we send showing that the message was sent or if there was a problem with sending. To remove this option, press the box again and the tick will be removed.

   It is important to see that there are two sections here, Slot 1 and Slot 2

   .

   They are the same option, but the right choice must be made depending on where your Micro SIM or SIM cards are located. If you only have one SIM card, then make sure you select the right slot and if you have SIM cards in both Slots, then either select both options or check which Slot the SIM card is in.
