   In the top right-hand corner, we will find a gear- or wheel-shaped icon

   The icon stands for Settings. We tap it once to access Settings.

   In Settings, we must tap on "Controls" once

   In "Controls", our first option will be "Language and input".

   Once we are in the "Language and input" menu, we locate "Handwriting recognition"

   .

   "Handwriting recognition" will inform us: "Handwriting can be recognized in S Note, Action Memo, photo note, and photo frame feature. You will be able to search for handwriting in the language you select below. After you select a language, the device will recognize handwriting in the language." For this tutorial, we'll use English.

   We can tap "More languages" if we require other languages

   We will have our available downloaded languages in "DOWNLOADED LANGUAGES". We can check the languages in order to add them to "Handwriting recognition". We can download additional languages, based on our language preferences.

   Once a language has been selected, we just tap "OK"

   In Action Memo, S Note, and other various applications, we'll be able to access "Handwriting recognition". We can use our hand, finger, or the S Pen in order to write notes on the screen in the language that we've selected.
