• Never use Face Unlock while driving. This is very obvious. When driving, you should be focused on the road and not on your phone so do not unlock your phone using Face Unlock while driving. The unlocking process requires you to look at the screen to align what the camera is catching; this may distract you from traffic and may create unnecessary damages and injuries.
• Security level of Face Unlock is low. Face Unlock is considered by Samsung as one of the locks that has the lowest level of security. This is because someone who looks like you, or brings a picture of you can easily unlock your phone and have the data to it. As much possible, when using Face Unlock, keep your important data safe by using other securing methods and applications.
• A person who looks like you could unlock your device using Face Unlock. As mentioned above, anyone who looks like you (e.g., a brother, sister or twin) could possibly unlock your phone and have access to its important data.
• Do not forget the backup PIN or Pattern Lock. You may not realize it yet but making sure you remember you pre-set PIN or pattern lock to unlock a device that does not detect the face. In cases that you are on a dimly lit place or your phone does not recognize your face, log in back to your phone by entering the correct pattern or PIN.

Phone does not detect the face

There are many reasons why Face Unlock does not detect your face. These are the most common ones:

• Lighting conditions. The lighting during the initial set up and your current location could trigger a mismatch thus disallowing you to get back to your phone. If this happen to you, log in to your Samsung Galaxy S4 by using the PIN or the pattern lock. Also, update Face Unlock by setting up a new face.
• Facial hair. Facial hair difference form the time the initial data was captured against the latest shot. Make sure that you have the right facial hairs or change the pre-set capture data to
• Haircut. Similar with the reasons for facial hairs, a new haircut could disallow you to get into your phone without using the PIN or pattern lock.

My S4 i9506 don't have facelock in lockscreen option?
