Setup Face Unlock on Samsung Galaxy S3

Do you want to secure your mobile to keep all your details and any other information that you do not want to share from everyone safe and a secret? Well then you need Face Unlock, by this no one else can open your mobile right away or as easy because with Face Unlock, only your Face is recognized by your mobile to open and use your phone. If you are using Samsung Galaxy S3 then you are in luck as this device offers this feature. In this article we will show you on how you can enable this feature.
Enable The Face Unlock / Pattern
- Tap the 'Apps' which is located on the lower right corner of your mobile.
- From your Apps tap the 'Settings'
- Then scroll down and under Personal tap 'Security'
- Then under Screen Security tap 'Screen Lock'
- Then from Select Screen Lock tap 'Face Unlock'
- Then this will lead you to the information about Face Unlock, read the provided information and then tap 'Set it Up'
- Then under Set up Face Unlock, continue reading the provided information and then tap 'Continue'
- Then it will lead you to a screen with a dotted circle, put your face over there and then wait until your device recognize your face once it has been recognized it should say Face Captured then tap 'Continue'
- Then it will ask you to create backup PIN or pattern, you should then select a back up to do so tap 'PIN'
- Then type in your preferred PIN then tap 'Continue'
- Then re-type your PIN to confirm and then tap 'OK'
- Then it should say Finished you can then tap 'OK' your face unlock should now be setup.
Disable Face Unlock
- Tap the 'Apps' which is located on the lower right corner of your mobile.
- From your Apps tap the 'Settings'
- Then scroll down and under Personal tap 'Security'
- Then under Screen Security tap 'Screen Lock'
- Then it will ask you to type in your PIN to confirm, type in your PIN and then tap 'Next'
- Then under Select Screen Lock at the bottom select none, tap 'None' to select.
- Under Screen Security your Screen Lock should say None at the bottom like the image below.
