You're watching VisiHow. In this tutorial, we're going to demonstrate how to add "Medical ID" data in the Health application on the iPhone 6s Plus.
From the home screen, tap on Health.
Now, tap on "Medical ID" in the bottom right-hand corner.
Make sure that "Show When Locked" in "EMERGENCY ACCESS" is turned on. This way, an emergency responder can access your phone and find out some basic information about you that you have entered, even if the phone is locked or you're incapacitated.
You can tap on other fields and enter any other information that you want. You can enter your date of birth, "Medical Conditions", "Allergies & Reactions", etc. Let's tap on "Allergies & Reactions".
Let's type "Nuts" for this example.
You can tap on emergency contact, blood type, organ donor, weight, height, and other fields to edit them.
Lock the phone by pressing the lock button.
Someone can press the lock button. This is the case, for example, when the owner is incapacitated.
Then, he or she must swipe right.
Then, he or she can tap on "Emergency".
He or she can tap on "Medical ID". It is in the lower left-hand corner. That would give access to some basic medical information entered by the owner who would not be able to talk to the person who had used the function.
That was how to use "Medical ID" on the iPhone 6s Plus. If you have any questions or comments, please leave them in the space below. Thank you for watching VisiHow!
