Steps

In order to continue, you will need to find headphones with the proper jack to connect it to the Samsung Note 10.1

The jack socket is in the top-left corner of the device. It is opposite the S Pen.

Simply find the socket and insert the jack into it until you hear two clicks

Now, swipe down from the top of the screen

This will drop down the notification panel. We will see that the earphones are currently plugged in by the "Recommended apps (Earphones)" line.

Now, let's tap on the settings icon in the top right-hand corner

The icon is gear-shaped. We will open "Settings".

Once we are in "Settings", please tap on the "Device" menu

Scroll down through the "Sound" menu until you find "Adapt Sound"

Tap on "Adapt Sound" once

Now, to check Adapt Sound, we will need to close all of the multimedia applications

We should be in a quiet location and whenever we hear the beep, we should tap on "Yes" or "No".

Tap on "Yes" when you hear the beep

The progress bar will be filled.

If you do not hear the beep, you will need to tap on "No"

Continue tapping on "Yes" or "No" until the progress bar has been filled

You will see "Left" ear and "Right" ear buttons. The red line shows when "Adapt Sound" is enabled, and the blue line indicates when the "Adapt Sound" is disabled.

We can tap on "Left" to see the graph for the left ear

We can tap on "Right" to see the graph for the right ear

To restart the "Adapt Sound" option, simply tap on "Retry"

Once you've finished, tap on "Done"
