Hi, you're watching VisiHow. Today we are going to show you how to set up Viber on your Android phone.

   To get started, tap the power button on the right side of the phone, then swipe across the lock screen to unlock the phone

   Tap on Apps, which will allow you to see your Applications

   Scroll through until you find Viber

   That is going to open up the Viber application

   As you can see I'm given the option to continue, to enter my Country, my phone number and the instructions which basically tell me that I should select my Country, enter my phone number, then click continue. So I will go ahead and enter in my phone number and tap Continue.

   It is asking if this is my correct number and saying that they will send me an SMS with a code

   That's fine. Tap on OK and wait for the activation code. The activation should be fairly fast.

   It says a code was sent via SMS and that it could take up to minute

   .

   If you set this up and you don't get your code right away, that's okay. just wait a minute for the SMS.

   Once the code comes in Viber should automatically set itself up

   If it doesn't you'll get an issue that I have that says invalid code. I will tap Try Again.

   It seems to have actually set itself up so I will login using my Facebook details

   Viber will receive the following information

   :

   your public profile, news feed, birthdays, photos and videos. You can edit that if you'd like to, I'm not too concerned about it but you can tap the edit to choose what they get access to. They don't need access to any of this, but I'm just going to tap OK. I will let Viber do what it wants to do, if I don't like what Viber is doing later I will change it.

    Now I have some contacts on Viber, but I'm not really worried about that
