Steps

First, we need to go to Settings

We can either find Settings in the applications folder as a gear-shaped icon or in the notification panel by swiping down from the top center of the screen by using a finger.

We can tap the Settings icon

We need to tap "Device" located on top

We will find "Sound and display" and "Personalization".

It is located right below "Personalization". We will see the different types of screen security.

We can choose from "Swipe" with "No security", "Signature" with "Low security", "Pattern" with "Medium security", "PIN" with "Medium to high security", "Password" with "High security", and "None" with no security.

For example, let's tap "Pattern" to make a pattern

We can tap "Retry" to make a new pattern
