To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the top right-hand-side power button

Swipe upwards one time to get to the home screen

Find the Google Keep icon on the home screen

It's a yellow box icon with a white light bulb inside of it.

If it's not on the home screen, access the application through the Apps menu

The icon is a gray box with a set of white squares inside of it. For now, we will open up Google Keep from the home screen.

Tap on the Google Keep icon one time

Now we are viewing our own home page for Google Keep. We would like to set a reminder on a note that we've already created.

Tap on a note to open it

We will open up one of our lists, "Shopping - Food", by tapping on it one time.

Scroll down to the bottom

At the very bottom of the list, find the icon shaped like a little bit of string wrapped around a pointer finger

Next to that are the words "Remind me". Tap on these words one time.

Choose a reminder type

We can give ourselves either a time or a location reminder. Let's do a time reminder.

Tap on "Time reminder" next to the clock icon one time

Tap directly in the fields that appear

Right now, it is set to "Tomorrow Morning" and "Does not repeat".

Tap an option from the pop-up menu to replace "Tomorrow"

We will choose "Today". This also changed "Morning" to "Evening".

Tap "Evening" and then tap a time to replace it

Tap "Does not repeat"
.
We can either repeat it "Daily", "Weekly", "Monthly", "Yearly" or "Custom", or we can select "Does not repeat" to not repeat it at all. We will keep it at "Does not repeat".

Tap on the time

We have chosen "Afternoon", which they say is about 1 pm. This time is written to the right of "Afternoon" in the pop-up window we get when we tap on it. For us, this is right now.

To choose a time, tap "Pick a time..." at the very bottom

Move the blue indicator by pressing and dragging it

We can set the exact time that we need to be reminded. Let's select "13:04", or 1:04 pm.

Press the back arrow to return to the home screen
