To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the 'power' button located right on top of the phone

Once the phone is activated, we'll see the lock screen.

Press down on the screen and swipe up, and this will allow us to enter the phone

To do that, we must establish what is the home screen, and we always know which one it is because we go to it as soon as we turn the phone on

If we're in one of the other ones and we're not sure which one it is, press the 'home' icon at the middle bottom of the screen. It is a white square with a little triangle on top, like a house. Press down on that, and it will take us to the home screen.

We now want to change and set a different panel as the home screen

To do that, take two fingers, such as your thumb and index finger, and press down on the screen. Swipe them together. This is going to bring up a menu.

The icon at the top of the screen is the same as the icon at the bottom of the screen
.
It looks like a white outline of a house. This is showing us that this panel is our home screen panel. We want to change that. For example, we want to make the 'Blinkfeed' panel our home screen.

To do that, we need to press the icon at the top right-hand corner of the screen
.
It is a white icon of a piece of paper with a pen or pencil inside. Press down on the icon to bring up some options. There are two options at the bottom. They are 'Set As Home' or 'Remove'. The option to 'Set As Home' is faded. It is showing us that we can't pick it right now. That's because we're already on our home screen.

Swipe left, and we can see now that the option has darkened, and it means it's available

In a white box with grayish-black text it says 'Set As Home'. This is that we need to press. If you don't want to select this panel as your home screen, then swipe left or right until you find one that is right for you, and when you've found it, press the 'Set As Home' icon. The 'home' icon will appear underneath the panel. This confirms that this panel has been selected to be the new home screen panel. Of course, you can change this as many times as you like.

Swipe left or right until you find the panel that you want

Press the 'Set As Home' icon again, and it will move the 'home' icon. It will confirm that we have changed this panel to our home screen panel.
