- 8We can set "Software (obsolete)", "Hardware (faster+smoother)", "Hardware (FXAA filter)", and "OpenGL Plugin (smoother)". The software mode, as the application suggests, is obsolete, which means that the hardware modes are much better because they are faster and smoother. We can choose the hardware mode with the FXAA filter, which is a mode of texture filtering. Selecting this will give us slightly better graphics, but not all games support this. The last option is "OpenGL Plugin (smoother)", which gives us more freedom to choose our own set-up for the graphics. We have to be warned that the ePSXe emulator does not come with the OpenGL plugin installed. We will have to download it manually. To find out how to download the OpenGL plugin manually, refer to the VisiHow tutorial on how to do so.Depending on our phone's overall performance, we can set one of the four options.
