You are watching VisiHow. Today, we're going to show you how you can set up your credit card information on the iTunes store so that you can set up family sharing, using iOS 8 on your iPhone 6.

To start with, you're going to need to open iTunes, which as you can see here, we've already opened

Once iTunes is opened, the first thing you're going to do is look in the upper right hand section a little bit left to the search area, and you're going to see a little silhouette

Give that a click

That is going to prompt you to sign in to the iTunes store.

Enter in your Apple ID

And then enter in your password

And once you're done that, then click on Sign In

You're going to see that in the top area here, where your music is normally playing, it tells you that it's "accessing iTunes Store." Sometimes it may take a minute or two, or even more, for it to access the iTunes store
.
But once it's signed you in, you'll either see the screen refreshed or you'll notice that your little portrait here to the right has changed to an account. And now you can see I have my "Account Info" as an option here that I can click.

A single click on Account Info will take us to the iTunes window again, where we will once again be required to enter our password

Once you enter in you're password, tap the Enter key as I just did. And now you will be told again that you are accessing the iTunes store. As you can see here, my payment type is set to a MasterCard, and my name and other details are here (much of which I've blocked out simply because I don't want my selfies and personal information being sold at auction). So, if you're interested in editing your payment type, then you're going to go across to the payment type line and click on Edit. If you have, for example, Paypal or something else set up, then family sharing is not going to work. So click on Edit. Once you've clicked on Edit, you'll be able to select from a number of credit card options at the top.

After selecting your credit card option, enter your credit card number, expiration date and the security code

Then scroll down and confirm that your billing information is accurate

Once you've done that, you'll click on Done on the bottom right hand side

When you click on done, it will take you to a confirmation window, confirming that your information has been correct

If you simply want to go back, on the top left hand side there's a little arrow key that you can just give a single tap
.
That will take you back without actually editing or changing anything.
