To get started with, you are going to need to press the Home button which is the button down here at the bottom

Single press to that, or you can press the Lock button which is the button over here at the right side of your phone

You will be into the Home screen of your phone

What we are looking here is the silver Settings icon. You can see here, Settings - a silver gear-shaped icon. Give that a single tap.

Once you've tap that, your phone is going to take you to the Settings screen

You will see the second option as a blue little WiFi guy. We are going to tap on that one time.

Single tap can open up your WiFi option you will see that the WiFi is turned on
.
If you would like to turn off WiFi, just give that a single press and WiFi is turned off.

This is not affecting any of the other settings on your phone
.
It's not like turning on airplane mode. It just simply disables WiFi - a quick way to save battery if your out about in town and you are not near any WiFi areas and you want to turn that off to keep the battery safe.

For our purposes though, we have a WiFi connection and we want to connect to it so lets give this button a little tap

Once you give that button a tap, you can now see that I have two network to choose from - "DMHOME" and "Nino"

"Nino" happens to be my network so lets give "Nino" a tap

Once I've popped into "Nino", I'm going to enter my password

I'm not really worried about any of you knowing my password is. I'm not the one who set this password up but it's got 123, isn't that great?

Give it a minute and there we go - a little check box. We have joined our network.

Another option here is Ask to Join Networks
.
If I want to be asked every time I join networks then I should check this. As a general rule of thumb, if I have a network saved, it's the network that I am comfortable logging into. I am not really worried about asking to join network so I'm not going to have that checked.

Let's go ahead and press back on the Settings

Now, we will give a single press to our Home button to take us back to the Home screen
