After Settings are open, if you look under the profile picture, there is an option for Notifications and Sounds

There is a possibility to turn the Alerts on by tapping the switch on the right side, across from the word Alerts.

Next, Message Preview, if you would like your message to pop up on your screen while you're doing something else, you are welcome to turn that on as well

There are no sounds, alerts or tones at the moment, but you could choose the tone you like from the list

To save the ringtone that you set up, you have to press Done at the top right corner of the screen

We just set up the message notification alerts, including the sounds and ringtones

Next one is Group Notifications. If you have a group chat on Telegram, you have an option to set up special separate notifications for the group messages. Let's have alerts on, but without a message preview.

The next section is In-App Notifications, which are the notifications you receive while using the application

So my in-app sounds are on. In-app vibrate is off because while using notifications you will be able to see the messages popping up. I think vibration is a little bit excessive.

In case you are unhappy with all the notification progress you've made, and you want to reset your notifications, you just tap on the red Reset All Notifications option

When we tap this, a menu will appear. Click on Reset to confirm.

We undid all the custom notification settings for all the contacts and groups
