Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to set a time frequency to be reminded about notifications on an HTC One M8.

To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the top of the phone

Once the phone has been activated, we will see the lock screen.

To unlock the phone, swipe the screen upwards

Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the home screen, and at the bottom, we will see icons.

Swipe down to access the notification panel

Start right at the top of the screen and swipe downwards. The notification panel will appear.

Access the settings menu

Locate the white cog icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen. This is our settings icon. Press down on it and it will open up our settings menu. It will say the word "Settings" in the top left-hand corner of the screen.

Scroll down to the "PERSONAL" section

Scroll down to locate the "Accessibility" option in this section

Next to "Accessibility", there is an icon of a hand. Press down on this option and it will open up our Accessibility menu.

Scroll down to the "SYSTEM" section

Locate the "Notification reminder" option directly below the heading

Press down. This opens up a very small menu with only one option, called "FREQUENCY". When we have a notification reminder, its purpose is to remind us that we have a message or any notification.

Let's check the frequency for these reminders
.
As we can see here, it says "Remind me every" and underneath it has "15 seconds", showing that this is the option currently selected. What this means is that every 15 seconds, we will receive a notification reminder. It will make a noise, as it says at the top of the screen: "Play sound or vibrate to remind me of unread notifications". If we have an unread notification, it will play a sound or vibrate every 15 seconds until we look at that notification.

To change the frequency, simply press down on "Remind me every"
.
This presents a collection of options. We have everything ranging from 15 seconds to 5 minutes.

Choose the desired frequency
.
We have 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 3 minutes and 5 minutes. You can choose the option that is right for you. We can see that there is currently a green circle in the first section, 15 seconds, to indicate this is the option currently selected. If we choose another option, the green circle will move and choose that option. Let's choose 5 minutes. Press down on "5 minutes".

It now says "5 minutes" under "Remind me every"
