To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the right-hand side of the phone

Once the phone is activated, swipe the lock screen up to open the home screen

On the home screen, find the Vine tile
.
It has a turquoise background with a white capital "V" in the middle. The V has a curl on the upper right side. The Vine tile often flips over, showing various images from previously viewed vines. If Vine has not been pinned to the home screen, swipe left to find it in the Apps menu.

Once Vine has been located, press on it to enter the application

Press on the screen to pause any vines that automatically begin playing when the application opens

Press on the ellipsis, or three dots in a row, at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen to access the settings menu

Next, tap on "settings" at the bottom of the list

On the next screen, scroll down and press on "Your Content."

Now, tap on the gray dot on the right, across from where it says, "Sensitive posts, Your posts may contain sensitive material." Sometimes posts may contain sensitive material, such as swear words or topics of an adult nature
.
This can be highlighted, and the Vine can reference and acknowledge it. Then it can be categorized in a certain way, so it will not be easily viewed by minors. It is possible to send a complaint about a video you feel is inappropriate, but if it is already marked as sensitive, it is less likely to be marked as inappropriate.

After pressing on the gray dot, a message will appear to verify this action

It states, "Mark my posts sensitive. You're about to mark your posts as sensitive."

Press on "mark sensitive" to continue

This will change the gray dot to a turquoise dot with a checkmark inside it. All posts will now be marked as sensitive.
