Steps
1
In order to change the lock-screen wallpaper on the iPad, tap on the "Settings" icon

The icon is gray-and-silver and gear-shaped.

Once you press the "Settings" icon, tap on "Wallpaper"

This will open the "Wallpaper" menu.

Tap on "Choose a New Wallpaper."

You can tap on either "Dynamic" or "Stills"
.
For the purpose of the tutorial, let us tap on "Stills".

Now, tap on any of the pictures that you like

In this case, the sandy picture is tapped. One tap on the picture will bring it up on the screen. You will be given the option to set the lock screen.

Tap once on "Set Lock Screen"

You'll see that the wallpaper will be set.

Once it has been finished, press the home button

You will go back to the home screen.

On the upper side of the device, press the lock button
.
It is located to the right of or above the camera.

Press the lock button once again to unlock the device

You will see that you will have new wallpaper.

Swipe right to unlock the phone

You will be back to the home screen.
