   In order to set the default picture size on a Galaxy S6 Edge, the phone needs to be unlocked

   Once our phone is unlocked, we locate and tap the Camera icon

   Alternatively, we may double-press the home button

   Once the camera is launched, we need to tap the settings icon

   The settings icon is at the upper-left side of the Camera application. One tap on that icon will open the "Camera settings" panel.

   On the camera settings panel, we need to locate and tap the very first option, "Picture size (rear)"

   In "Picture size (rear)", we'll have the option to set, or adjust, the photo size as we like

   Everything from 16 MB photos at the 16:9 ratio down to 2.4 MB photos at the 16:9 ratio can be tapped. If we prefer a different ratio, there are different ratios as well. To choose an option, we simply tap on it one time. Let's tap on "16M (16:9)". Once we do that, we'll automatically be taken back to the "Camera settings" menu. We'll see that "Picture size (rear)" will be set to "16M (16:9) 5312x2988".
