Welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to set the default download location in the Mozilla Firefox browser while using a Windows 7 computer.
To start, open the Mozilla Firefox application. To open it, double-click on the icon. Wait for it to load.
Once it's loaded, go to the Options. To go to the Options, first click the menu button in the top left-hand corner. A pop-up menu will open.
Click on "Options". A new tab will open.
In this tab, locate "Downloads". In this case, the default download location is the "Downloads" folder.
To change the default download location to the Desktop, for example, click on "Browse".
In the newly opened window, click "Desktop". You can choose whatever location you want, but "Desktop" is being used as an example.
The default download location is now set to "Desktop". All downloaded files will be saved to the Desktop.
If "Always ask me where to save files" is selected, every time a download starts, you will need to select a location to save it to.
That concludes the tutorial on how to set the default download location in the Mozilla Firefox browser while using a Windows 7 computer. Thank you for watching VisiHow. If you have any other comments or questions, please leave them in the comment section below.
