Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to set a ringtone for a specific WhatsApp contact on an HTC One M8.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on top of the phone

   Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.

   To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up

   Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We now need to open the application folder.

   We can do that by tapping the icon in the middle, at the bottom of the screen

   There is a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder.

   Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the WhatsApp application

   There is a WhatsApp icon, which is a green speech bubble with a white telephone inside, and underneath it says "WhatsApp". Your application may be in a different location, so look for the icon in your folder. We want to demonstrate how to set a ringtone for a specific WhatsApp contact.

    If the box is empty, it means that we can't access the other options; we can turn it on by tapping on the box

    Tap on "Ringtone"

    In this example, it says the word "Dahlia" underneath, indicating the ringtone currently chosen. We can set a specific ringtone just for this contact, so if this contact calls us then we know who it is just by the ringtone. Pressing on this option will bring up a big list of all of the different ringtones.

    We can listen to them by pressing down on them

    We can choose the one that we like the most and make sure the green circle is next to it, then tap "OK" in the bottom right-hand corner
