Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to send a voice message on an HTC One M8.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button, located on top of the phone

   Once the phone has been activated, we'll see the lock screen.

   To unlock the phone, press down on the screen

   Hold down, and swipe up. Once the phone has been unlocked, we'll see the home screen. At the bottom, there will be icons.

   This is where we need to find the messages icon

   It is located here. We can see a white text box, with three green horizontal lines in the middle. Press down on this icon. It will open up our messages. In this video, we will learn how to send a voice message.

   We need to start a new message

   To do that, press this icon at the top, in the blue bar. It looks like a white plus sign. Press down on it. It will allow us to compose a new message.

   If we want to add a voice message or create a voice message, then we must attach it

   To do that, press this icon here. In the blue bar at the top of the screen, there is a white paperclip. Press down on that. It will open up our "Attach" menu.

   Next to it there is a set of headphones. Press down on this option.

   When it asks us to select one of these options, we want "Voice Recorder"

   We are going to use this application to record our voices so that we can send a voice message. Press down on the words, "Voice Recorder". There is a microphone next to it. Press down on that.

   Here we have the time and the options. The big red circle is going to start the recording. Then we can stop it, and listen back to it. We are going to quickly record our voice. Press down on the big red circle.

   Press down on the two vertical lines to pause recording

   If we want to stop the recording, press down on the stop button. That will save the file. Once we press down on the square, it will take us back into the messaging section. It will save the file. It will have to convert the message from SMS message to MMS message.

    It will cost more money to send this message. Be aware of that. We can see that the voice message has been sent here, 17 KB. On the right-hand side of the screen, we can see our limit. It says 300KB as the limit, and we are using 17KB.

    We have the option to replace, remove, or play it, or look at the duration

    This is our menu, specifically for the voice message we just recorded. Let's play it, just to check before we send it. Press the word "Play".

    We can open the file with "Open with Music" or open with "Google Play Music"

    If we want to open it with Music, we are going to press, "JUST ONCE" here, written in green. It will allow us to listen to the message.
