   Normally this is how you send a message. You go to the message icon.

   But we are going to send a message to a person that we don't have SMS history with

   So how do we do that? Let's go to the phone calls and let's pick a phone number.

   Go to the info and scroll down

   It gives me an option to send a message. So let's open send message field.

   As you can see it took me to the new message and this is the phone number
