To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the power button on the top, right-hand side

Then swipe up to get to the home screen

Tap on the Apps icon once to open up the menu because Google Drive is not on the home screen in this example

It can be accessed through the Apps menu by tapping on the icon. The Apps icon is located on the lower right-hand side of the home screen. It is a grey box with of set white squares inside of it.

We can scroll left and right until we find the icon for Drive

It is a multicolored triangle.

Tap once on the icon to open the application

We can scroll through the personal Drive until we locate the file that we would like to send

Now tap on the little grey "I" to retrieve a list of more options once we have located the file we would like to send

Tap on "Send file" in the second row of icons of the new options to be taken to a pop-up

It asks how we would like to send the file

We are going to select Gmail, which is the last option. We can either "Always" send through Gmail or send through Gmail "Just once."
