Hello and thank you for watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to send a Google Drive link to a contact via SMS on the LG L70.
To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the top right-hand side power button and swiping up one time to get to the home screen.
We do not have Google Drive on the home screen, so we need to the access the apps menu. The Apps icon is located in the bottom right-hand corner of this home screen. It's a gray box with a set of white squares inside.
Scroll left and right until we find the Drive icon, which is a triangle in 3 colors. Tap on it to open the application.
Scroll through to find the file to share, and press on the gray circle with the lowercase "I" in it. This opens a menu of options where we need to make sure that link sharing is on.
We can do that by scrolling down to find the "Who has access" section. We can see that Link sharing is on for this document, so anyone with the link can view this file. They can't edit it but they can view it.
To share it, tap on the second option in the top row of icons labeled "Share link". It has a paperclip icon. This gives us a list of options for how we would like to share the link.
Tap on the "Messaging" option. It has a yellow box with a smiley face chat bubble inside of it.
Tap on "To" to select who to send it to. We can type in the persons name and tap on it.
Tap the green "Send" button on the right-hand side.
The message has been sent, indicated by the timestamp.
In order to close this application and go back to the home screen, we can tap the bottom center button on the phone.
This does conclude the tutorial on how to send a Google Drive document link to a contact via SMS on the LG L70. If you have any comments, questions or suggestion, please leave them in the space below.
