Send Feedback to YouTube on iPhone 6
Edited by Freya, Melissa Rae, Eng
Hi. You're watching VisiHow, and today I'm going to show you how you can send feedback to YouTube on the YouTube app on an iPhone 6.
To start, we can unlock our phone, which we can do by pressing the 'lock' button on the right-hand side of the phone, or the 'home' button, which is the big, round one at the bottom of the screen.
Once the lock screen is up, swipe and enter the passcode, or hold your finger onto the 'home' button, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner as well.
Once at the home screen, find the 'YouTube' icon. It has a red frame, a white square inside that and a red triangle in the center of that, as well. It sort of looks like a television screen. Tap once to open up the app.
It will automatically take you to the 'What to Watch' page, which will either be recommended specifically for you based on the videos you're interested in, or it will be a list kind of similar to the example, which show the most popular videos on YouTube if you're not signed in. Refer to another VisiHow video on how to sign in.
Press the three horizontal gray lines at the top left corner of the screen. This brings up a new menu.
Tap the gray cog on the right-hand side of the menu. Tap it to open up the 'Settings' menu. There several different settings here.
Scroll down to the last section, 'About', which is indicated on the left-hand side. Tap 'Send Feedback', which is the second option in that section.
Click the box and start typing feedback. Maybe it's good, maybe it's bad. For example, we typed "bad buffering".
Click and click again to remove or enable settings indicated by the blue check on the right-hand side. For example, if we don't want our account information shown or we don't want to share data.
Click 'Preview' in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, and it will show the overall version of what they will see when they receive the feedback.
Press 'Send' in the top right-hand corner. At the bottom, it will say "Your feedback report was sent to YouTube".
To go back, press the three horizontal gray lines, and click 'What to Watch', which is our first option.
It will take us back to the recommended videos. As you can see, there are the most popular videos combined with the things it thinks you will like.
Thanks you very much for watching. This is a VisiHow video, and I've just shown you how you can send feedback on the YouTube app on an iPhone 6. If you have any questions or comments, please pop them into the section below. Thank you very much for watching. Bye.
